ΣMYPNAIΩN - AΠΟΛΛΟΦA/NHΣ The Poet Homer seated left, holding scroll in his right hand and propping his head on his left; behind, a transverse scepter. BMC -. Unlike the bronze coinage, Smyrna's silver drachms showing Homer are extremely rare. Of this particular magistrate, Milne knew a single example
